We're looking to grow our Resource Management Team at NLS!
As our Operational Resource Specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in coordinating the allocation of resources across various projects, ensuring smooth on-boarding and off- boarding processes, and collaborating closely with project managers, recruiting, and human resources. What You'll Do:
- Act as the Adaptive Work Admin for resource data and reporting needs.
- Collaborate with project managers to fulfill project staffing requests, prioritize resource requests, and resolve allocation conflicts.
- Provide ongoing resource management support to all departments.
- Collaborate with the recruiting team to ensure accuracy in role openings and placements.
- Utilize Adaptive Work and Power BI to report on, and evaluate current resource utilization and existing skills within the resource pool.
- Coordinate with assigned resources to update information in various systems and manage data through multiple reports and tools.
- Provide time reporting to project management teams, ensuring accuracy and identifying discrepancies.
- Offer resource data to help mitigate resource concerns.
- Document and maintain resource management processes.
- Maintain the resource management database, including managing staff changes and project assignments.
- Manage internal initiatives related to resource management as needed.
What You'll Bring:
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Power BI
- Experience with Office 365, with a strong emphasis on Excel
- Familiarity with resource automation systems and software
- Exposure to the software development lifecycle (preferred)
- Minimum 2-3 years of proven experience within an IT environment
- Strong ability to build relationships and manage upwards across the organization
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to switch between working as a team player and an individual contributor
- Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to think outside the box
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to analyze large amounts of information
